RACE COURSE
THE LOOP ON THE BOTHNIAN BAY
The 10k loop race course will be constructed on the frozen sea on Bothnian Bay in Lapland, Finland. Race the competition in an icy landscape under the Arctic sun.
With multiple races to choose from, you’ll find the perfect challenge. Race with professional speed skaters in the 200k Ultra Distance Race for a chance to win €10,000.
Course loop is subject to change. Course to be determined based on optimal ice conditions.

OPEN DISTANCE RACES
200k Ultra distance- Mens and Womens OPEN
The 200k Ultra Distance Race is a grueling test of endurance and skill, pushing athletes to their physical limits. Skaters must maintain a consistent pace to navigate the lengthy course. This race will showcase determination and resilience in the face of extreme challenges. Complete 20 laps around the race course for a chance to win €10,000 and be crowned victorious.

2nd place wins €5,000 and a trophy - 3rd place wins €3,000 and a trophy
4th place wins €1,000 and a medal - 5th place wins €800 and a medal - 6th place wins €700 and a medal

42k Marathon- Mens and Womens OPEN
The 42k ice speed skating marathon is a test of speed and stamina. To complete the course, racers must demonstrate endurance and a last-minute sprint to the finish line.

2nd place wins €2,000 and a trophy - 3rd place wins €1,000 and a trophy

10k Marathon- Mens and Womens OPEN
The 10k ice speed skating race is fast-paced and challenges skaters to showcase their speed and endurance. Traveling once around the race course, a relentless pace must be maintained with a last-minute burst of speed towards the finish line.

OPEN SPRINT RACES
500m SPRINT- Mens and Womens OPEN
The 500m ice speed skating sprint is a showcase of power on ice. Athletes push themselves to the limit in a dash to the finish line. Race with professionals and try to beat your best time.

100m SPRINT- Mens and Womens OPEN
The 100m ice speed skating sprint displays explosive power and lightning-fast speed on the ice. Skaters propel themselves towards the finish in split-second timing.

42k Marathon- RECREATIONAL
The 42km recreational ice speed skating marathon offers enthusiasts a chance to test their skills and endurance in a friendly environment. Enjoy the exhilarating sensation of speed while taking in the stunning winter scenery.

10k Marathon- RECREATIONAL
Gather friends and family for the recreational 10k ice speed skating race. Travel once around the course for a fun and memorable event. Go fast or go slow, but make sure you enjoy the fun.

500M sprint- RECREATIONAL kids race
This 500m ice speed skating sprint is just for kids. Young skaters take to the ice to chase their personal best times. Who will be the fastest?

100M sprint- RECREATIONAL kids race
The 100m ice speed skating sprint is just for kids. Young skaters will take their positions at the starting line and race for bragging rights to be the fastest skater.
